It all began with a burning desire to carve out a slice of mountain biking heaven right in our own backyard.
We knew the perfect spot would be the key to an exhilarating ride, more crucial than the flashiest gear or the slickest bike.
The hunt was on for a terrain that could stand up to our wildest stunts, but we faced a jungle of challenges—until we stumbled upon an abandoned motocross track, just waiting for a second chance.
The Brainwave: DIY or Die Trying
Priced out of the market, we decided to take matters into our own hands. With access to wood CNC machining and a DIY spirit that wouldn’t be tamed, we embarked on crafting our own ramp.
But the road was bumpy with no blueprints, questionable machine precision, and subpar materials.
After some serious sleuthing, we scored a connection with a factory that churns out top-notch wood products for export.
They hooked us up with some tough-as-nails Russian birch plywood, and we were in business.
The Prototype: A Ramp with Heart
Our first prototype was a beast. We fine-tuned it with the tech crew, and when we hit the test run, it was love at first flight.
